Taxi rides and excuses.

First, the excuses..the internet access has been so poopy I've fallen behind.  Next posts I should catch up with pics from Hieropolos, Ephesus, Rodos, and perhaps points in between

Taxis...we took a taxi from Kusadasi to Bodrum to catch the necessary ferry.  About half way through the two hour drive, the driver stops at a small cafe for a smoke, and buys us tea and some flatbread a woman was making in a traditional way.  Taxi number two, from Chania airport to downtown ,  the driver indicated he couldn't drive us to our lodging because it is located on a pedestrian street,  to give us directions on how to walk the last few blocks he did the sign of the cross to indicate we turn left at the church.  Way cool.  Our lodging is fantastic, perhaps more on that later, but after killing on a fantastic bottle of Cretin cabernet, me go sleep now.

Pictures on their way tomorrow.
