Wednesday Update

Tuesday night we were "treated" to some awesome music, Turkish I presume.  Somewhere outside our room was a gypsy wedding.  The music was loud and lasted until midnight and we enjoyed every minute of it (at least until falling asleep).

Today we visited the Topkapi Palace, followed by a 7 hour bus ride to Ankara.  The odd picture of art below I'm guessing is related to the protests.  The park where the protests have been occurring here is about a block from our hotel. It was quite dark when I took the shot, so I have no idea if you'll be able to make out any details.

I had more pics to post, but seem to have a weak internet connection.  Best get this off before it's too late.
